Big snow!

So we are supposed to get blasted with snow today! 8-16in! Yes, there is a pretty huge variable there, but it is already coming down heavy, and it is supposed to continue for most of the day. Should make our driving for work a little interesting. Especially since Dad has fun making our bald tires do tricks. It should also make our planned 6-mile snowshoe expedition a bit of work on Sabbath. My legs can feel it already!

Today I begin classes again. I prepaired much better for these classes than the previous ones. I have read all of the intros, and even the first chapter of two of the books. I even got new highlighters to get me back in the mood. : ) Fitness and Nutrition, and Pharmacology. Should be pretty interesting. I will keep you all posted on how it goes. ; )

Friday

So its Friday already, though it still feels like the middle of the week. Not quite sure why. Maybe its because I have to be at a wedding rehearsal at 4:30 tonight. A couple that came to the evangelistic series is now getting married in our church tomorrow. (The groom is the Pastor's son for those of you who know him). I had this lingering dread that, as I had heard nothing of music at the start of the week, they would wait until the ceremony is about to start, and WHAM, "Would you mind playing a few songs?".... Thankfully, I was wrong, and I was asked on Tuesday. : ) So I frantically ran through my books of wedding songs and found a few that can be pulled together in a few days. Now I just need to see how it all with work... ; )

Then tonight we celebrate my Dad's birthday a little early with the family. I lured Adam with the bait of real lasagna. : )

This is my week off from school, and I am enjoying it, though inevitable thinking about next week. My new classes have books that are huge! and with tinier print and than any thus far. That said, I did the unthinkable and went through the introduction yesterday. I have a slightly better feeling now.

Ok, I will stop rambling until I have more interesting things to say. Ta ta!

Fun times at Adams

In a fur hat, jumpsuit from the 70s, Adam's old boots and goggles, and Jim's gloves I am ready zoom into the chilly night.... ; )

Life recently...

So I have finished both finals in my classes, for better or worse. Mostly worse. It has to be the most frustrating thing in the world to be an A student and find yourself becoming acquainted with B's. Ok, you can all stop laughing, or being disgusted. I just had to get that out.

Anyways, on notes happier than school, we got a couple more inches of that wonderful white stuff this morning. It made it interesting to walk down to the Black Bridge with Mom this afternoon. We are having a heatwave...a whole 32 degrees! Its amazing!

And for an update, many of you who were friends of mine on myspace were sad to read my post about disenheartenment about it, but good news my friends, i am now a proud member of facebook! I find it to be much more friend oriented, and lest festering of my ugly judgemental characteristics. (God is still working on me you know) Although it none the less distracting, there is a time and place for everything....
So feel free to look me up!
