Catching up and winding down

Hey everyone! I have been really bad about posting again, not that I needed to remind you of that. Life has been busy as always, but even more so with less than 5 weeks to our big day! We just got back from Tennessee tonight, from Kristen and Ted's wedding (Adam's cousin). It was a really good/busy weekend. The wedding was held in the Collegedale Church, so we were able to get back into our our turf. We were even able to catch up with some friends from Southern, so that was really nice. Gail was Kristen's florist, so she was extremely busy getting the decorations, corsages, bouquets, and everything else all set. Adam and I played Bless This House for their reception. Everything went really well. I am gaining more ideas of things I do and don't want to do for ours. The list is still growing... :)

I know all of you who live far away have been dieing to see photos of our house, and since Adam is not a fan of me posting it all over the internet via facebook, I will upload them to picasa and send you all invitations. :) I know this is really slow in coming, but I will get it! Unfortunately, with me not being great at taking pics, I don't have any "before" pics, but I have plenty of afters. The place really is making progress! The shower is set in the new bathroom, and the sheetrock is going up. Our bedroom walls are done, and the trim is almost done. We just need carpet in there for it to be finished! The kitchen still needs a lot, as well as the floors. I am just praying that God keep all of this and our needs in His hands, because it is too big for me to worry about it being done in time.

The wedding plans are coming along as well. It is so hard to believe that it is really so soon! I know the time will be here before we know it! ;) Right now we have the house taking up half of our attention, so it is going even faster.

Well, for now this is it. I need to get some school done since I wasn't very motivated while in vaca. this weekend. :) Hope all is well with everyone!
